Getting Added to SelfPromotion.com's list of sites.
If you represent a search engine, index, or awards site that would like to receive automatic
submissions from SelfPromotion.com, here is how to go about it.
Note: This form is not used to promote your site! If you want to do that,
read the help to learn how!
To give you a taste of how cool the Secret Net Tools are (you have to
contribute to get access to all of them), I've enabled your access to several of
the simpler ones. Enjoy!

Indexes and Search Engines:
My primary criteria for adding a site to the list of indexes and search engines that Tooter
can submit to are as follows:
A listing on your site must be useful to many of the users of the site.
Your site must be professional in design and implementation. If it looks amateurish,
or works slowly, forget it.
Your submission system must be amenable to automatic submission. The major disqualifier
here would be database-driven categorization systems that are not suitable for automatic
spidering and replication on SelfPromotion.com.
Your site must have been up and running for at least 6 months.
If you believe your site qualifies, please email me
with the following information:
The URL of your site.
The URL of your "addurl" page.
A brief description of the site, target audience, and any submission restrictions.
How many page views you serve per day.
How long you've been up and running, and how many links you have in your database.
I am particularly interested in non-North American indexes and engines, as I wish to improve
coverage of these sites.
I'm only interested in real awards that have real criteria for winning. If you give your award
away to everyone who asks, I'm not interested. Also, awards based on voting, where
the applicant must add a link to your site, are not eligible; your award must be given based
on your review of the applicant's site. Secondary criteria are the design of your
site, the coolness of your award icon, and how tough the award is to win.
If you think your award qualifies, please fill out the following form. Please note
that I am only adding awards that can be applied with via an email address.
Important Note
I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd add my little button to
your awards or addurl page, so that other people can find this site.
Simply copy the button from this page and add it to your page.

The HTML to install the button would look something like this:
This site was developed on a Macintosh, programmed in
WebSiphon, and served
by WebStar. The author,
on those exceedingly rare occasions when he does think, indeed thinks differently.
It looks (and works) better when you use version 4.0
or better of Netscape Navigator or
Internet Explorer, but can
be used with any tables-capable browser.
